Dr. Jennifer Wilson has practised comprehensive family medicine in her hometown of Uxbridge, Ontario, for more than 25 years. An Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto, she is passionate about teaching and global health, having spent two decades building long-term partnerships in Ghana. Jennifer and her husband, Graham, have raised five children together. Family Rooms is her second book, following Grant Us Tomorrow, and reflects her deep belief in the healing power of enduring relationships.
Dr. Carlye Jensen is a family physician, Lecturer in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto, and educator dedicated to comprehensive, relationship-centred care. Since 2007, she has practised in Uxbridge, Ontario, where she combines family medicine, emergency medicine, teaching, and community practice. Carlye and her husband, Sean, are raising three sons together. Family Rooms is her first book and reflects her belief that the privilege of caring for patients lies in sharing their joys, challenges, humour, and heartbreak across the seasons of life.
